Sichuan Long March Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is located in Leshan, Sichuan province, close to world-famous Emei Mout & Leshan Grand Buddha, one of the world natural and cultural heritages. Long March, with more than 40-year history, is the large antibiotics manufacturer in southwest of China.
With fast development since its establishment in 1968, enterprise scale and scope of business have been expanded constantly. As a comprehensive paharmaceutical company, Long March owns 2 subsidiary companies, 1 Institute of Antibiotics and has main products over 150 items including antibiotics manufacturing, bio-fermentation, chemical synthesis, bio-presticedes, animal health products and pharmaceutical machineries. Annual outputs are 1,000 metric tons of APIs, 100 million vials of powder injections, 400 million of capsules, 400 million vials of water injections and 1 billion of tablets. The main products of our company have been approved by FDA for 12 times since 1982, and we successfully passed the EDQM inspection for Certificate of Suitability(COS) of the monographs of the European Pharmacopeia for 2 times since 2002. Up to now the total assets is up to 350 million RMB, the whole production area covers 250,000 square meters, and there are more than 200 professional technicians.
Sichuan Lan Yan Group decided to build a new plant named “New Long March Pharmaceutical Park of Lan Yan” after holding the share in 2011 in order to lay the foundation for pharmaceutical sector. The planned “New Long March Pharmaceutical Park of Lan Yan” , which covers an area of more than 230 acres, will be a modern large-scale production base of pharmaceutical industry including fermentation APIs, synthetic APIs, small volume injections, sterile filling powder injections, solid preparations and biopharmaceuticals. Currently, the Project I of “New Long March Park of Lan Yan” for small volume injection production had been started in Dec. 2011, and have been CFDA cerficated in 2014. Now, the Project II is under construction.
